I'm Ahmad Najmi bin Amerhaider Nuar, a Malaysian senior lecturer at the Faculty of Computing, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia — and Founder & CEO of NexScholar Sdn. Bhd., an AI & Big Data platform for academic, research and industry collaboration.
My work sits at the intersection of Design Science Research, AI for researchers (through NexScholar), and computational thinking for SMEs — teaching small and medium enterprises to break down and solve business problems structurally.
Outside the lab and lecture hall, I'm a web developer at heart. I spend a lot of time with PHP, WordPress, and JavaScript, and I'm equally happy talking about research methodology or shipping a new product feature.
I'm easy-going, outgoing, and I genuinely enjoy meeting new people. When I'm off the clock you'll find me playing video games or getting lost in a good playlist.
